Even though we live in the 21st century and are experiencing economic growth, there are still people around us who often have nothing to eat or nowhere to live. They are not able to break free from the vicious circle of poverty on their own.<\/p>\r\n

Some people claim that this should be the government\u2019s responsibility. And while waiting for the government to act, might be a good excuse, we do not want to wait another decade. Our donors<\/h2>\r\n

Ivka has a regular job with a regular income and is raising two small children, which come with a lot of expenses. However, Ivka is a big fan of our work and believes in us. She has set up a regular monthly donation of 10\u20ac, which is not a significant amount for her but will have a great impact on our work for those in need.<\/p>\r\n

Juraj, moved abroad for work a long time ago, and has since started a new family and launched a business there. His 500\u20ac donation to Cesta von is a sign of his ongoing ties to Slovakia, old friends, and support for the country where he grew up. We appreciate his trust a lot.<\/p><\/p> <\/div>\n

Major donors<\/h2>\r\n

Our dream is to give every child from excluded and marginalized communities a better start in life. By 2025, we aim to have 60 omamas working in the excluded Roma communities, helping 1,200 children build foundations for a better future. This represents about 16% of the 7,500 children aged 0-3 born in marginalized Roma communities.<\/p><\/p> <\/div>\n
